Springfield, Missouri DIY Backyard Wedding
Gabe and Emma are dear friends of ours. To be honest, I have never seen Aaron shed so many tears at a wedding. Their day was emotion filled and completely overcome by the most infections joy I’ve ever seen. The girls started off the day with breakfast and enjoying the gorgeous views at her family’s cabin. The boys went to Rogue Barber for a fresh cut and straight razor shaves. They all were able to relax and enjoy the morning with their friends and it was so special. My favorite moments included when Emma and her mother shared a beautiful moment together, and when Gabe and Emma exchanged letters. She read her letter on the edge of a bed that she had stayed in many times as a child. After reading the letter, the euphoria and happiness was so evident on her face as she was overcome with emotion. After a very touching ceremony, it was party time. We ate some good food, had some good conversation, and just enjoyed the night. If you ask me, that’s the recipe for a perfect day. A week later they had a larger reception at The Old Glass Place and it was SO much fun. The Old Glass Place is an industrial venue in Springfield, MO and was the perfect place for their stylish and fun reception. Enjoy!
